I was praying tonight about the meaning of life. God created us, and wants us to live a happy, full life. He wants us to take good care of our physical bodies. The last thing God wants us to do is die prematurely. I believe God doesn’t take anyone from this world if he can avoid it. God is the God of the living, not the dead. He created you and me to have a happy, full, life.
What happens, though, when our health fails? Does life become less enjoyable? Of course it does. When we are sick, life is rather unpleasant. What does God want us to do when we are sick? We can pray for healing, but what if we have an internal problem that can’t be cured naturally? At one point, science and religion was married, and we called this practice Alchemy. Alchemists were the predecessors to chemists, who are responsible for many medicines we have today. Additionally, tribal people specialized in natural medicines. In reality, God would want us to see a doctor and get cured.
Our Days Are Limited
Humanity can only survive so long before old age kicks in. That is when we are judged, at the end of our days. Our second life begins, where our physical body will hold us back no longer. Many people wonder what heaven is. To shamanic culture, the spirit world exists alongside the human world. In Christianity, we believe a celestial region in the sky to heaven. Other cultures believed the afterlife was underneath the earth. What does it mean when someone sees a ghost? It could only means two things: someone saw an angel, or someone saw a demon. No human could possibly see a spirit as they are invisible. God’s realm exists without a physical image.
Life Is Sacred
Life should be preserved at all costs. We turn our eyes to medicine so much that it is easy to lose sight of God. God can cure anything, but some things like disease might require us to seek out a doctor. Is there any limitation to God? God has no physical hands, which is why he ordered us to be his hands and feet. Moreover, we need to recognize that our bodies are rather fragile. During things such as depression, we open ourselves up to even more physical ailments. God doesn’t want anyone to be unhappy. I chalk most forms of depression up to demonic attacks on the mind. Satan is the great oppressor. He wants us to not feel joy and to be kept far away from God’s blessings.
We were created for many purposes. Perhaps my purpose was to instruct and teach. I want everyone to understand how precious life is. You may be young one day, and then, before you know it, life has all but passed you by. We were made to feel joy and serve God. Obedience is one thing, but doing God’s will is another. Not everyone will give their lives to God fully. What can you do to make a change and make a difference in someone’s life? It’s never too late to dedicate your life to God. Don’t get caught in the trap that is the past. Embrace today, and be reborn. Rebirth begins when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. I am a sinner, and I am forgiven, because Christ died for me. Praise the Lord!
