Today, I reflected on God’s deeper meanings. His mysteries can only be understood by Him. In reality, He wants so much for His children. God knows that we will never be able to fully grasp His meaning here on Earth. It is not until after we die that we will be able to appreciate life. Moreover, God’s voice is like a whisper to us in life. After we die, it will be a clear voice. Then, we will finally be free. Our body is like a prison. Life is a gift from God. The afterlife is a grand reward.
A World Of Sin
A world of sin keeps us back from knowing God fully. When we die, we are judged according to our belief in Jesus and our works. Should we have lived a good life as repentant sinners, we will go to heaven. There, we will not need to rest, eat, drink, or do anything physical. We will be a spirit. At this time, God will finally be able to teach us His mystery. This world holds us back from fully knowing God. It is full of temptations. Satan is the God of this world and seems to be everywhere. He hates us, and wants to send us to hell. The devil tempts us with carnal pleasures. He wants nothing more than for us to defy God. Satan tempts everyone. He even tempted Jesus in the bible! Satan is not in heaven. He will not be able to harm us in heaven. Because of this, we will only really understand God then.
Spiritual Wickedness In High Places
Even ministers are tempted by Satan. The bible states that there is spiritual wickedness in high places. There is no one who is perfect on Earth. Jesus was the only one to never sin. God was made into flesh to become Jesus. He died on the cross and rose again. He conquered sin with His sacrifice. In heaven, we will personally know Jesus. We will be able to walk and talk with Him. He will share all of His teachings with us personally. Indeed, we strive for an afterlife on Earth. We have been given the gift of free will to make our own decisions. It is completely up to us whether we seek a relationship with Christ. Jesus overcame sin so that we may be forgiven. Because his blood was shed, we may receive the gift of eternal life.
Latin translates sin to the word err. That is, to “miss the mark.” To the Italians, sin was as simple as failing. When we speak of sin, in a biblical sense, it is when we do evil. Anything that goes against the word of God is sin. Whenever we seek physical pleasure, we are sinning. God is the ruler of the supernatural realm. In the supernatural world, all things are spiritual. He is the leader of the angels, and they do His will. To get in touch truly with God, we must be spiritual. The bible gives a clear definition on what spirituality is. It’s that feeling motivated by the strongest force, love. In fact, the bible states that God is love. Love is never motivated by evil. It is perfect, patient, and kind.
To walk with God, we must make it to heaven. The afterlife is our reward for leading a good life. We must do good to each other if we hope to make it to heaven. Then, we finally will understand God. Moreover, we have but a fraction of understanding of what we will have in the afterlife. I pray that you may understand that we are but foolish on Earth. No bit of book smarts will prepare us for what we will learn in heaven. This Sunday has been a day of enlightenment for me. May God follow you throughout your week. Remember, always wear a mask and practice social distancing. Together, we can beat the Coronavirus.
